WKU Hosts 2025 Autumn Campus Job Fair
The 2025 Autumn Campus Comprehensive Job Fair of Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) was successfully held, bringing together 53 leading enterprises. Representing industries such as finance, education, and manufacturing, participating employers offered more than 900 internships and full-time opportunities for students.
The atmosphere was lively as students arrived with their resumes, eager to engage in meaningful conversations with company representatives. Tesla not only opened recruitment for its “Tesla Consultant” position but also showcased its Model 3 and Model X vehicles, giving students a firsthand look at the intersection of technology and career development. In the finance sector, more than 20 institutions including Bank of China and first-time participant CITIC Securities, promoting its campus recruitment trainee program. Meanwhile, the education sector included Wenzhou Semir United International School and other institutions, all providing diverse job opportunities. University leaders Pan Jianzhong and Yan Xiaopeng also attended the event to communicate with participating representatives about talent demands and students’ employment intentions.


In addition, the job fair also featured a range of supportive services. The “Resume Clinic” offered one-on-one guidance on resume writing and interview tips, while the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security offered on-site consultations on local employment retention and talent subsidies. Many students found the experience valuable. Li, a senior accounting major, said, "After in-depth communication with several financial institutions, I have a clearer vision of my future career direction. Teachers from the Career Development Center also helped me polish my resume, boosting my confidence for interviews." Wang, a junior English major, also clarified her career goal of engaging in English education.


Employers also spoke highly of WKU students. The representative of Sinopec Wenzhou Petroleum Branch praised them for their "high comprehensive quality and strong communication skills," while the recruitment manager of New Oriental Ningbo Branch recognized their "outstanding English proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills," noting that they are highly aligned with the demand for international education talents.
In recent years, WKU has built university-enterprise cooperation platforms through job fairs, corporate presentations, and other initiatives. In the future, it will continue to optimize employment services to support students in achieving higher-quality career development.
