At Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU), education extends beyond the classroom to support students’ overall personal development. Alongside creative arts, physical education plays a vital role in supporting students’ well-being by offering a variety of required and elective courses such as tennis, swimming, ultimate frisbee, yoga, badminton, and table tennis. These classes emphasize skill development, teamwork, and healthy habits. Beyond the classroom, events like the “Freshman Cup” encourage cultural exchange between Chinese and American students. The WKU table tennis team recently earned third place in league competition.

Complementing the formal course offerings, campus sports activities and events continue to thrive at WKU. Events such as “Basketball Night” and “Fun Sports Day” attract nearly 800 participants each year, further integrating athletics into daily campus life.
