WKU Student Secures the First Prize in the Zhejiang Provincial Tournament of NECCS
The 2025 Zhejiang Provincial Tournament of the National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) was recently held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Finance-majored student Wu Yichen was selected to represent WKU and won the First Prize for his outstanding performance.
It is reported that 44,000 students from 72 universities across the province participated in the preliminary round, with 312 students advancing to the finals this year.

About the NECCS
The National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) is the only authoritative national contest assessing English comprehensive abilities for college students and is also regarded as one of the most important indicators of the English teaching level in colleges of China.
