WKU campus selection for the 27th “FLTRP·ETIC Cup” National English Debating Competition (FLTRP) and 2025 China University Debating Championship (CUDC), jointly organized by the English Language Center and English Debating Society, concluded successfully on March 14, 2025. A total of 16 teams participated in this competition, and four teams advanced into the final round after three round-robin preliminary debates.
Team Antifragile (Zhong Huiwei, Liu Chang) emerged as the Champion in the finals, while Team G.O.D (Chen Yining, Xu Haibo) secured the Runner-Up. The two teams will represent WKU to compete in the East China Regional of the 27th "FLTRP·ETIC Cup" National English Debating Championship in April.
Team NOT YET (Yang Fangyu, Li Yitong), one of the two 2nd Runner-Ups, will represent WKU at the 2025 China University Debating Championship (CUDC).
