11th All China Interpreting Contest East China Regional Tournament | Results Announced
The results of the 11th All China Interpreting Contest (East China Regional Tournament) were released. Four WKU students win the third prize, and they are GU Jiaxuan (English major), FANG Mingyuan (English major), HE Haoming (Architecture major), and FU Xiaotong (Communication major).




The regional tournament is the semifinals of the contest, with strong contestants from Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai International Studies University and other universities in East China. The contestants need to interpret the one to one-and-a-half-minute materials (in both E-C and C-E) in three minutes. When preparing for the contest, our students kept practicing every day, thus performing well and getting good results in this competition.

All China Interpreting Contest is one of the largest and most influential interpreting competitions in China, which is organized by China International Publishing Group and hosted by the Translators Association of China (TAC). This contest is aiming to provide a platform for interpreters from home and abroad to display their language competence, promoting the development of interpreting education and the language service industry in China.
