On September 23, 2025, the Wenzhou-Kean University Sino-US Humanities and Economics Institute held an unveiling ceremony for its provincial, regional, and country research centers. Guo Huawei, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Social Sciences; Chen Weiyi, Party Member and Secretary-General of the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Social Sciences; Pan Xiaoyong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Wenzhou Municipal Federation of Social Sciences; Pan Jianzhong, Party Secretary of Wenzhou-Kean University and Dean of the Sino-US Humanities and Economics Institute; and Yan Xiaopeng, Deputy Party Secretary of Wenzhou-Kean University and Executive Dean of the Sino-US Humanities and Economics Institute, attended the ceremony and participated in discussions. The Wenzhou-Kean University Sino-US Humanities and Economics Institute, centered on Sino-US relations and focusing on two strategic areas: humanities and economics, is building an interdisciplinary, cross-border, and cross-sector academic and policy research platform. The Institute integrates the university's teaching and research platforms, including the Center for Sino-US Humanities Exchange, the Center for International Communication, the School of Business and Public Administration, and the School of Humanities. By cultivating an international research team, engaging in diverse Sino-US exchange initiatives, and connecting think tanks domestically and internationally, the Institute aims to achieve precise research and effective responses to key issues in the Sino-US humanities and economics fields, contributing "Wenzhou-Kean wisdom" to improving Sino-US relations and global governance.
