Recently, WKU students excelled in the 2024 "To Tell the Stories of Wenzhou to the World" Wenzhou Youth English Translating Contest, winning four of the ten awards. Here is the result of WKU students.

Name Prize

As one of Wenzhou’s highest-level foreign language competitions, this competition included a preliminary round with video introductions, a semi-final round focused on written translation, and the final round of sight interpreting. All four of our students who are from the WKU English Competition Team advanced to the final stage.

The final round featured 16 contestants, including teachers from colleges and high schools in the Wenzhou area. Our students demonstrated impressive English proficiency and exceptional translation skills, enabling them to excel.

Congratulations to all the award-winning students. We look forward to their continued contributions to the cultural promotion and internationalization of Wenzhou in their future endeavors.
