During my two years at WKU, I have experienced substantial growth and received support from various avenues. In terms of academics, I have been fortunate to learn from a dedicated team of experienced professors led by Professor Agnes Guo. They are highly professional and deeply committed to education, generously imparting their knowledge.
Additionally, I was privileged to serve as a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) at the university. In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to participate in the TESOL China Education Conference as a speaker. During moments of academic uncertainty and challenges, I benefited from my professors' careful guidance and found solace in the late-night study sessions and passionate discussions with fellow students. The university values the voices of each student and actively supports us in various ways. For instance, they have tried to schedule evening classes to accommodate students who work during the day. Furthermore, WKU is dedicated to enhancing students' career prospects by providing valuable platforms and resources.
The university's blend of Eastern and Western cultures is evident in its architecture, characterized by a harmonious fusion of Western-style buildings and traditional Chinese elements. This cultural amalgamation is not limited to physical structures but extends to converging academic ideas and philosophies. WKU has created an environment where I can unwind amid the sometimes intense and dry academic life and fully appreciate the charm of WKU's academic culture, adding brilliance to my graduate life.
The most honorable aspect of my experience here is the opportunity to meet and learn from the outstanding team of professors. Their guidance and inspiration have been the most invaluable treasure to me.
