The 9th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest (East China Regional Tournament) | Results Announced
The 9th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest (East China Regional Tournament) was successfully held online at Ningbo University. FU Make (Economics major) won the third prize.
This regional tournament is comprised of two parts: gist interpreting and conference interpreting. The theme of conference interpreting is “Future Skills”.
The Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest, hosted by Xiamen University, is a national-level event, attracting universities from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Since it was first held in 2009, this contest is among the earliest interpreting competitions held nationwide and has been held eight times, providing a platform for students to compete and exchange.
