2026 NECCS Preliminary Round Successfully Held at WKU
The preliminary round of the 2026 National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) was held at WKU on April 12, 2026. A total of 147 WKU students registered for the competition.
As a result, Lyu Jianing (Mathematical Sciences major) will represent WKU in the Zhejiang Provincial Final.
About NECCS
The National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) was founded in 1999 and has been held annually since then. This competition evaluates students’ comprehensive English proficiency, including listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation. It is widely recognized among universities and college students and is one of the largest national English competitions in China.
