Kean University President Lamont Repollet Delivered Keynote Speech at IAUP 2024

On the morning of October 14th, the 20th Triennial Conference of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP 2024) was inaugurated in Beijing, China. Dr. Lamont Repollet, President of Kean University, was privileged to participate and deliver a keynote speech.

This year's conference, themed "AI and the Future of Higher Education," is dedicated to fostering collaboration, innovation, and dialogue among university leaders worldwide. It brings together 700 university presidents, administrators, faculty, and researchers from 50 countries and regions to explore the dynamic landscape of higher education.

In the speech, President Lamont Repollet presented his insight on the theme and reiterated the power of AI to facilitate transformations, close equity gaps and innovate the curriculum in higher education. He shared inspiring initiatives on how Kean University and Wenzhou-Kean University embrace AI. Looking ahead, he envisioned a future where AI acts as a catalyst for a global education network. “Together, we can shape a future where education is not limited by boundaries but defined by possibilities,” remarked President Repollet.
