WKU students won awards in Zhejiang Provincial Level of “FLTRP ETIC Cup” National Foreign Language Contest for College Students (Interpreting)
On October 29th, 2023, the first “FLTRP ETIC Cup” “Understanding Contemporary China” National Foreign Language Contest for College Students (Interpreting) concluded successfully at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou.
Four WKU students took part in this event and delivered excellent performance on site. Mei Xiangning (English major) and Wu Yichen (Finance Major), among 30 contestants who advanced to the second round of this provincial competition, were awarded bronze medals. The proportion of gold, silver and bronze awards is 5%, 10% and 15% respectively.
Another two WKU candidates were both freshmen, Liu Lezhi (Psychology Major) and Chen Shuzhi (Finance Major). They showcased great potential in interpreting while they were involved in interpreting training for the first time this semester.
