WKU Campus Selection for the 29th “21st Century Cup" National English Speaking Competition, jointly organized by the English Language Center and Toastmaster English Speech Club, concluded successfully on March 24, 2024. A total of 32 contestants participated in the event.
Here are the results:

FU Yuxi emerged as the champion and will represent WKU in the upcoming Zhejiang Province Tournament.
The campus selection comprised two rounds. The first round featured prepared speeches followed by a Q&A session, while the second round included impromptu speeches along with another Q&A session. The theme for this competition was "The Revival of Traditional Culture".
The judging panel commended the competition for its orderly organization and applauded the contestants for their articulate delivery and compelling perspectives.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Hooi San Noew, Kevin Spencer, Po-Yu Wei, and XU Kai for their invaluable contributions in making this contest a fabulous success!
